POOL SEASON ENDS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th
The time has come again to close the pool for the off-season. The last day the pool will be open is Monday, September 5th. We hope you had a great summer!
 
 
STREET TREE POLICIES
As of the all-resident special meeting on 4/26/2016, the Street Tree Policies have been updated.
 
The Waterford Homes Association, under the direction of the Board of Directors and/or a Tree Committee, will be responsible for treating all street trees of the Ash variety that are deemed worthy for treatment. Treatment will happen once every 2 years starting in 2016. Ash Trees not deemed worthy for treatment will be removed and replaced at the discretion and schedule of the Board of Directors and/or a Tree Committee. Homeowners are responsible for all other pruning and maintenance of street Ash Trees pursuant to Leawood City Code.
 
Homeowners with street trees other than the Ash variety are fully responsible for the maintenance and care of their street trees pursuant to Leawood City Code.
 
 
TOWN & COUNTRY YARD WASTE PICK-UP
Yard Waste collection season runs from April - December, with pickup days on Thursday.  There is a 6 bag/bundle limit April - September.  Unlimited yard waste pickup is available October, November and December; Yard waste is not collected in January, February or March.

Per Johnson County regulations, all yard waste must be in biodegradable bags. No plastic bags will be accepted for leaves, grass clipping or any type of yard waste. Tree limbs may be tied in four-foot bundles or placed in biodegradable bags.

Reminder: Each resident can have one free bulky item pickup up per month at no charge. Simply call Town & Country 48 hours in advance and set item at the curb. Qualifying items include vacuums, lamps, toilets, electronics, patio umbrellas and furniture. 
 
 
EMERALD ASH BORER INFO UPDATED

RESIDENT ACTION Requested:  In the near future, Ash trees on the parkways/streets will be evaluated and recommendations will be offered.  If you have other Ash trees on your property that are not on parkways/streets and you wish to have evaluated, please email the board at info@waterfordha.com with your address and location(s) of the Ash tree(s).  Any other concerns or questions can be directed to the same address.
